Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty stopped in Rock Hill on Wednesday to help raise funds for State Senator Mick Mulvaney in his campaign to unseat U.S. 5th District Congressman John Spratt. Pawlenty spoke to a crowd of around 100. WRHI was there.

Gov. Pawlenty’s Freedom First PAC endorsed and gave money to several South Carolina candidates in this fall’s elections including $3,500 to Nikki Haley, $3,000 to Senator Jim DeMint, $2,000 to Tim Scott, $2,000 to Alan Wilson, $2,000 to Jeff Duncan, and $2,000 to Trey Gowdy. Tuesday night, he attended a fundraiser for the state GOP at the home of Chair Karen Floyd in Spartanburg, along with Nikki Haley.
