Kronotex USA announced plans to expand its Kronotex Flooring LLC manufacturing facility in Barnwell County. The Kronotex expansion will be a $45 million investment, is expected to generate 40 new jobs and increase production capacity by 60 percent.
Construction is expected to start immediately and is also designed to enhance clean energy development. President and CEO Norm Voss says that the expansion of their Barnwell facility will allow production of a complete line of high-end laminate flooring products with improved design. These products, says Voss, were only previously produced in the company’s European factories.
Kronotex U.S.A. Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss Krono Group which is one of the largest laminate flooring manufacturers in the world.
