For your Tuesday, the Palmetto State will see mostly cloudy skies for the Upstate and Midlands to partly cloudy skies for the Lowcountry.The best chance for showers will be in the Upstate and Midlands. Highs will range from the upper 70s for the Upstate to the low to mid 80s for the Midlands and Lowcountry. Look for a few showers overnight with lows in the mid 50s to low 60s.
Severe weather:
There is a slight chance for severe weather for much of the Midlands and Upstate for Tuesday as thunderstorms will cross the state. Some of these storms may become strong to severe. The main threat will be damaging winds and large hail.
