A Lexington County school bus driver has been charged with DUI.
Walter Davidson was driving students Thursday afternoon when he was involved in an accident with two other buses in the parking lot of Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School.
No one was injured.
Police say Davidson’s blood-alcohol level was 2.5 times the legal limit.
The 61-year-old driver is charged with driving under the influence and child endangerment.
Lexington School District Three has placed Davidson on unpaid administrative leave, pending an investigation.
