Wednesday’s weather

Keep your rain gear on hand today as showers and thunderstorms will be around for much of the state. Highs will build into the upper 70s to low 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will be tapering off from the Upstate to the Lowcountry overnight with lows in the mid 50s to low 60s.

 There is a slight risk for severe weather for much of the state today. A few thunderstorms may become strong to severe with the main threat being damaging winds.
