Get ready for another very hot day for the Palmetto State with highs in the mid 90s for the Upstate to the upper 90s for the Midlands and the Lowcountry. Look for a slight chance for thunderstorms. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.

There is a slight chance for severe thunderstorms today and in the early evening for the Upstate and the Midlands as a weak cold front approaches from the west. A few of the storms may include damaging winds and large hail.
