Look for sunshine for much of the Palmetto State for your Friday with highs in the low to mid 90s. There is a slight chance for showers in the Lowcountry. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 60s to low 70s.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms for much of the Palmetto State for this afternoon into early evening., as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Damaging winds will be the main threat. Large hail will be possible as well.
