The Upstate will see a good chance for showers today. A less of a chance of rain will be around for the Midlands and the Lowcountry. Look for mostly cloudy skies for the Upstate and the Midlands with partly cloudy skies for the Lowcountry. Highs will run in the upper 60s for the Upstate to the upper 70s to low 80s for the Midlands and the Lowcountry.There will be a few overnight showers for the Lowcountry with lows in the upper 40s for the Upstate to the mid 50s and low 60s for the Midlands and the Lowcountry.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms for the Upstate today that will extend into the Midlands and the Lowcountry. The slight risk for severe weather for the Midlands and parts of the Lowcountry will extend into the evening and possibly overnight hours as well. The main threat will be damaging winds.
