Republican Sen. Rand Paul has added to his list of activities in an upcoming trip to South Carolina, the third visit this year for the potential presidential candidate.
The Citadel has confirmed that the Kentucky senator will address The Citadel’s Corps of Cadets on Nov. 12, on campus. He will be a part of the school’s “Greater Issues Series” and will take questions from cadets.
The series, funded by The Mills Lane Memorial Foundation, has brought presidents, heads of state, scholars, diplomats, journalists and distinguished business and military leaders to The Citadel.
The event is not open to the public.
On Nov. 11, Paul will speak at a SCGOP fundraiser luncheon at Charleston’s Harbour Club.
