Many this election season are seeking higher office, but Congressman Henry Brown wants to come back and serve locally. Congressman Henry Brown says his national experience is exactly what’s needed for Berkeley County. Brown officially filed for Berkeley County Supervisor this week, as he filled out the necessary paperwork to appear in the June 8 Republican primary ballot.
In a statement, Brown said “I’m putting the rumor to rest,” as he officially filed with the Berkeley County Republican Party. Brown says “Now, more than ever, experience counts. As we face economic challenges throughout the Trident area, we need proven leadership, not ideological rhetoric.” Brown emphasized that Berkeley County has always been his home.
