U.S. Senate candidate Alvin Greene is back on the campaign trail today with appearances in the Upstate. After swinging by a radio talk show in Charlotte, Alvin Greene is making an appearance in York, South Carolina. Greene plans on speaking with voters before a moderator asks the Democrat some questions submitted by some of the voters and reporters.
Event organizer Will Bigger says the Western York County Democrats originally sponsored today’s event, but pulled out after Green’s indictment on obscenity charges for showing a University of South Carolina student pornographic images.
Greene faces GOP Senator Jim DeMint in November’s election.
