A Joint Enforcement Team is looking for information on a string of 25 armed Asian restaurant robberies in six Lowcountry counties. The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for any details that could help lead police to the identifications of the suspects.
The robberies happened in April, August, September, October and November of this year. In most circumstances, the suspects wore gloves, masks, hoodies and dark clothing to hide their identities.
ABC-News 4 in Charleston spoke with one restaurant worker who says he has been taking extra precautions.
We have security cameras set up around the corners of the restaurant just in case, and we have officers that ride through. We have a lot of friendly officers that leave their card, and they ride through and make sure that we are okay or not before they leave.
