Greenville police are continuing their search for the mother of a newborn child who was left in a restroom of the Bi-Lo Center arena Friday night. The boy was found in a toilet by cleaning workers following a performance by Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus.
Greenville Police Chief Terri Wilfong.
We’re following every lead that we can and talking to employees. If anybody heard something, somebody screaming… If they’ve heard something like that, (we want them) to please call us and let us know, so that we can follow (up) with them.
Wilfong say anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Greenville Police Department.
The circus was such a big success in our area, I mean we had people from numerous states in here for that event. So we’re getting it out across the airs as much as we can because the mother could be from anywhere.
The baby is listed in critical condition.
