Now it’s turning out the new government appears to be increasingly anti-American and anti-Israel. We need to think twice about what we are doing in Libya because we really don’t know who the rebels are and we may in fact be fighting for folks who would end up causing an even greater humanitarian problem than we would’ve had in the first place.
DeMint says the U.S. needs to stick to its allies.
We need to understand our real friend in the region is Israel. We can try and have good relationships with these other countries, but we need to support our allies around the world and work the best we can in the Middle East. I certainly don’t want to depend on the Middle East and that gets back to our oil and gas prices.
