The C-17 being flown is a Boeing-made plane–a company that Haley says is bringing more and more business to the state. Haley says that along with Michelin and GE the buzz is about how great our workforce is, how the cost of doing business is low, and how the state continues to get more business friendly. She says “They’ve seen our fight against the unions, they understand that we’re trying to do great things to create a more business friendly environment.”
