Crimestoppers of Greenville announced today two new features to help the Greenville County Sheriffs Office and the Greenville police in their fight against crime. Residents can now text a message or tip to Crimestoppers. They have also added a “Spanish Line” to their 23-CRIME number. This will allow Spanish speaking callers to talk with an operator who speaks Spanish. Greenville county sheriff Steve Loftis–
I think it’s going to make us better. I think especially with the Spanish Line it’s going to open up communications better between law enforcement in this community and the Spanish community.
The new text number 274637.
