A company that makes radiators will expand in Greenville County.
Griffin Thermal Products is moving to a much larger facility outside the town of Piedmont, where it’s currently located, officials announced Wednesday. The maker of automotive and industrial coolers is buying the vacant Delta Mills plant to expand its production line.
Company officials said they could hire up to 50 new employees starting in November.
The 330,000 square foot facility is much larger than Griffin’s current plant– about four times as large, in fact.
Griffin was founded in 1981 and makes every component of its aluminum radiators and cooling devices. The company is especially involved in racing, including both traditional circle track and drag racing. It also builds the parts for muscle cars.
