Stormy weather will spread across lower South Carolina today. As Tropical Storm Lee’s remnants pass by South Carolina, the state will experience stormy weather today. Forecasts say the weather should pass by this afternoon, but expect plenty of rain, with possible thunderstorms in the meantime.
An earlier tornado watch for nine counties in South Carolina has been cancelled. There are no reports of any tornadoes actually forming.
Hurricane Katia is also in the Atlantic, but is expected to move away from South Carolina. However, swimmers are being warned to use caution this week as rip currents are a possibility.
