A leader in the state and national Democratic Party, Gilda Cobb-Hunter, says she is watching the GOP’s process to choose a presidential candidate and is “not taking any of them for granted.”
We spoke to her after then presidential candidate forum hosted by the American Principles Project and Sen. Jim DeMint. It was also the day the Democratic National Committee kicked off its preparations for its 2012 national convention. She spoke with Ashley Byrd about her perspective on the GOP field, the Tea Party and what lies ahead as the race begins to pick up pace.
