Being president means public scrutiny-even if you are a college student body leader. College of Charleston student body President Ross Kressel faces an impeachment vote for offensive tweets. He faces impeachment for comments against women, homosexuals, African-Americans and his own colleagues on his twitter page.
The Charleston Post and Courier reports the Student Government Association will vote today on whether to impeach Ross Kressel or not. If a two-thirds vote is reached, the College of Charleston Honor Council will then have eight days to decide Kressel’s fate.
Kressel told the college’s newspaper his comments were unprofessional and inappropriate–but meant as private. Kressel is considered an employee, making $13.50 an hour.
