While front-runner Rick Perry and former front-runner Mitt Romney duke it out for momentum in the GOP race for president, former Utah Governor John Huntsman is still back in the pack seeking traction.
Huntsman is considered more of a moderate in a Republican Party that has recently taken a decidedly conservative lean. In a recent interview with Columbia affiliate WVOC, Huntsman said he still has plenty of time to deliver his message to the American people as he touts his electability with his ability to attract independents and conservative Democrats as he did in Utah.
Huntsman says he is the coalition-building leader that the GOP needs to take back the White House because of his experience. Huntsman says the record of accomplishment he was able to build in Utah can be done in the White House.and he sincerely believes he can get the American economy moving in a positive direction.
