A Boeing 787 jetliner can now be seen from the sky–in a different kind of way.
It’s that time of year again–pumpkin patches, hayrides, and of course, corn mazes. This year in Charleston, Boone Hall Plantation has its corn maze in the shape of a new Boeing 787 jetliner. Boeing is the 2011 sponsor for the annual giant maze, which features a different image each year. Boeing South Carolina Vice President and General Manager Jack Jones cut the ribbon to open the maze this week.
The Boone Hall maze is open through Halloween. The maze is about 20 miles from the North Charleston Boeing 787 Final Assembly facility.
