A South Carolina man was arrested for pushing and slapping a firefighter at the scene of an accident. Kenneth Henderson of Pelzer was arrested for assault and battery after he slapped and pushed a firefighter who was reportedly trying to help Henderson out of his wrecked vehicle. The Associated Press reports Henderson shoved the firefighter twice and slapped him across the face.
Although there weren’t many details on the wreck, officers said Henderson appeared to have been drinking before the accident. He is charged with third degree assault and battery and is being held at the Greenville County Jail on more than a $1,000 bond. The firefighter did not need medical attention.
