Newt Gingrich wrapped up his South Carolina tour with a stop at Tommy’s Ham House in Greenville Wednesday morning. The former Speaker of the House reiterated most of his points from his speeches earlier this week. He also did a lengthy interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity at the restaurant.
As one leaves, another arrives: Michele Bachmann will arrive in the state Friday, stopping at various bookstores around South Carolina.

Meanwhile, the latest accusations against Herman Cain are causing the former CEO to “reassess” his campaign. An old friend of Cain told an Atlanta TV station Monday that she had had a 13-year affair with Cain. He calls her claims “fabricated” and “unsubstantiated.” Cain said he wanted to speak with his wife before deciding whether or not to continue his campaign.
