A Lee County magistrate faces possible suspension and jail time after being charged over the weekend with driving under the influence.
Stephen Moses faces possible suspension and jail time after the South Carolina Highway Patrol charged him with driving under the influence Saturday. Troopers reported that Moses blew a 0.21 blood-alcohol level in a breathalyzer analysis nearly two hours after crashing his car on Jamestown Road.
The legal limit in South Carolina is .08. The wreck happened late Saturday afternoon a little more than a mile from Interstate 20, according to crash crews.
Troopers say the judge’s car was sitting atop an embankment in a front yard when they arrived on the scene.
