Several law enforcement agencies have put together a task force in order to find out who killed a teen from Sumter High School.
Abraham’s remains were discovered last week by a man collecting cans in the Wedgefield area of Sumter County about 14 miles from the teen’s last known location.
He was last seen on a security camera at the Sumter County Library on July 19. He was reported missing by mother on July 22.
In addition to setting up a task force to find Aaron’s killer, Sumter Police have tapped into social media as well by creating the Aaron Abraham Task Force Facebook page.
Officers are asking the public for help. A joint task force has been formed consisting of the State Law Enforcement Division, the Sumter Police Department, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office and the Camden Police Department.
