According to various reports there are actually still people waiting to vote in the Midlands. Long lines and even longer waits have been a huge story in today’s election. Even though some people have yet to cast their vote, some races have been called.
Ted Vick, who was running for state legislature out of Chesterfield County, won his race despite not picking up a majority of the vote. Vick earned 45 percent of the vote,but that was enough since his two opponents split the rest of the ballots.
