A U.S. Special Forces soldier from South Carolina died last week from injuries he sustained during a free fall training event in Arizona, officials say.
An announcement from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command did not give any more specifics on what happened to Sgt. 1st Class Bradley Keys of Inman. Keys was an engineer sergeant in the Special Forces who was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, where he served in the operations and training section.
Keys first joined the Army in 1998, according to his bio. He graduated from the Special Forces qualification course in 2006. He also served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He is survived by his wife, son and parents.
