A man from North has been arrested in the disappearance of Kimberly Parrish. She disappeared after picking up her paycheck from her workplace in Columbia. Her car was found later in the town of North.
Kenneth Franklin Cutter has been charged with murder after officers found several articles of clothing and substantial blood evidence belonging to the victim.
Orangeburg Sheriff Leroy Ravenell at a press conference Friday said “Our investigation indicates Cutter was a male friend of Kimberly Parrish’s for at least four months. We have recovered DNA and clothing evidence that belongs to Parrish from an abandoned house near the suspect’s residence. We continue to conduct an extensive search for Parrish’s remains utilizing cadaver dogs, river, and air support.”
Ravenell said they are asking hunters, farmers and anyone with land to be vigilant and contact law enforcement if they locate anything.
