Have the rain gear in hand as showers will move through the Palmetto State today. Highs will fall into the mid 40s by the afternoon hours for the Upstate. Highs will top in the upper 60s for the Midlands to the low to mid 70s for the Lowcountry. Expect evening showers as well, then partly cloudy skies into the overnight with temperatures falling into the upper 20s for the Upstate, mid 30s for the Midlands and upper 30s to around 40 for the Lowcountry.
There is a chance that overnight rain will be turning to snow in the Upstate with accumulations of one inch. Black Ice is also possible for areas of the Upstate.
