Red Ventures marketing and technology company has begun construction on its third building at its Fort Mill complex just south of Charlotte
according to a company statement, the 180,000 sq. foot building will accommodate the 1,000 employees Red Ventures plans to hire over seven years–beginning with 400 hires in the next three months.
One draw will be the employee perks: a 6-lane bowling alley, an amphitheater for live music, a beer garden, a cycling room, yoga studio, a food court and more. This is in addition to the existing indoor basketball court, walking/running track, fitness center, locker rooms, putting green, and a gourmet cafe with subsidized meals.
“The mission is simple: to create a great workplace for the absolute best people,” said CEO Ric Elias. “We started this company in a basement, so today’s celebration is surreal.”
Red Ventures markets and sells products and services national brands. The company has operations in Miami, San Antonio, and Wilmington, N.C.
Gov. Nikki Haley spoke at Thursday’s groundbreaking: “You are seeing a very innovative company that is taking true gambles in a time when the economy is shaky, and they’re succeeding.”
Red Ventures expects to move into the new building in May 2014.
