Greenville Spartanburg Airport Police spent part of Wednesday evening investigating unattended luggage found on a curb. An airport spokesperson said the bag was discovered on the front curb near baggage claim and parking garage A. a funnel was sticking out of the baggage and as a precautionary measure, authorities made sure the front curb was cleared. Officers later discover the luggage contained a gas can. The bomb-sniffing K-9 from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene because the airport K-9 is away for training. A woman, who has not been identified, came forward and identified the bag and said it belong to her. She was then questioned by airport police. No flights were affected.
