Independence Day in the Upstate of South Carolina will be soggy with showers and thunderstorms. Look for highs in the lower 80s. It will be partly cloudy with the slightest chance of a thunderstorm in the Midlands and Lowcountry with highs in the upper 80s to right around 90. There will be more lingering showers the evening of the 4th in the Upstate with lows in the upper 60s. It will be better for fireworks elsewhere with partly cloudy skies and lows in the lower to mid 70s.
