Investigators now say the death of a York County assistant manager — who was found dead with three others in a home south of Rock Hill this weekend— was a murder-suicide.
A spokesman with the York County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that Assistant Manager Anna Moore’s husband Randy is believed to be the man who fired the fatal shots.
50-year-old Anna Moore was found dead Sunday along with 55-year-old Randy Moore, her son 31-year-old Jason Lockamy, and Lockamy’s girlfriend 31-year-old Lora Young. Lockamy and Young lived in Fairmont, North Carolina. Investigators could not provide a motive Tuesday.
Sheriff’s office spokesman Trent Faris said there are still many questions remaining. “We are trying to make this case go a little bit quicker,” he told reporters. “Hopefully to get some answers, not only for the public and the media, we want the family to have some answers.”
Faris says autopsy results seem to show Randy Moore shot and killed his wife, her son and the son’s girlfriend before turning the gun on himself. Those autopsy results have not been made public.
He said investigators are also still waiting for the results of a ballistics test and other forensic tests.
