AmbioPharm announced Wednesday that it will invest $18.8 million into a new headquarters and manufacturing building. The plans call for 40,000 square feet of new manufacturing and office space added on to the company’s existing property in the North Augusta Industrial Park. AmbioPharm hopes to finish the expansion by Fall 2018.
“Our expansion is the product of our hard-working, talented team of employees, the trust of our customers in the quality of our product and delivery system and the support we have received from the City of North Augusta, Aiken County and the State of South Carolina.” AmbioPharm, Inc. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Chris Bai said in a statement through the state Commerce Department. “The State truly knows how to work with rapidly growing enterprises.”
AmbioPharm provides contract manufacturing services for peptides and biopharmaceuticals to be used by medical clinics and drug companies.
The company established its headquarters in Aiken County eight years ago.
